Membership - Terms and Conditions
- HFTS Membership is valid from the date of purchase until the expiry date printed on your membership card.
- Membership benefits and discounts are only available upon the presentation of a valid membership card or another official form of identification.
- Membership cards and their benefits are non-transferable. Only the named person listed on the membership card can use it.
- An HFTS membership is non-refundable.
- The expiry date of a membership subscription cannot be suspended or extended past the expiry date stipulated on the membership card.
- Changes to your membership category or names of additional cardholders can only be made at the time of joining or renewing.
- A fee of $5.00 (inc HST) per member per card is payable for replacement cards.
- It is the responsibility of the member to notify HFTS of any change of address or contact information.
- All HFTS members are required to supply a contact email address. Special offers and events are communicated via email and members are automatically subscribed to HFTS’s email newsletter. Members can opt out of email communications at any time.
- 10% discount in the HFTS Store does not apply to sale items (unless otherwise advertised).
- HFTS Membership benefits do not apply to booked groups or school group visits as these are already priced at a subsidized rate.
- HFTS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or membership benefits at any time without prior notice.
- HFTS collects and manages your personal information in a professional and responsible manner and in accordance with the principles of privacy law. The information provided by you will only be used for HFTS Membership purposes, such as the administration of your membership, to notify you of upcoming membership programs and events, and in the planning, research and marketing of the membership program. HFTS will not disclose, sell, share or otherwise pass on your personal information to any third party. You may choose not to provide your personal details upon joining, however, if you do not provide your personal details we will not be able to administer your membership or provide you with some or all membership benefits.
